Merry December....

I have been remiss about my blog, my art and most things for the past 6 weeks and I'm sorry....Let me explain..."Lucy, you got some explainin to do"

You see, I had shoulder surgery, yep, the old rotator cuff was wearing down due to huge bone spurs that popped out in my shoulder and they had to go...Go they went and then came the pain...Dear Lord, the pain....anyone who has gone thru this procedure knows what I'm talking about and for those who have been blessed with good, strong shoulders...keep them that way, this ain't for sissy's...I call my Physical Therapy (PT, is the lingo they use) Pain & Torture...because it involves a whole hour of pain and at times it seems like torture...LOL...I can laugh now as the pain meds kick in, but during it...there's nothing funny about it....let's not forget the 2 hours of exercise I do at home everyday to get this shoulder moving again..it's tough...like I said above, it ain't for sissys's....

So now you know what I've been up to, why I have no new pretties to offer and why this blog has been neglected...I made my mind up after weeks of fretting over not being able to do this or do that ...that I will now approach this for what it is (Yes, I am one of the most stubborn people you'll meet when it comes to my health and thinking I can get through anything) This kicked my butt and is continuing to kick on a daily basis...

Sooo, I'll keep this short & sweet..I'll be marking most of my items down to GREAT prices in my Etsy Shoppe and on my Mercantile....now is the time to grab a few pretties and save lots of $$$$ The links to both sites are over there -------> on the right side of my blog...sorry, to many keystrokes to add links in here for you, I know you understand ;)

I'll add a few more posts before the holiday or as my arm allows me...I hope everyone had a blessed and thankful Thanksgiving and now only a few weeks before Christmas...May the holiday spirit live year round in your hearts and after the New Year, we'll be offering up some new pretties from the Foothills...
